Too early to call, breh. They're gonna ride it out, giving him an extension. Still don't truly know what he's gonna give them. Let's see his production over a whole season.

After watching both games vs SEA and IND i still can't decide.
As for the WR not getting open? I believe they were open plenty of times during the course of the game. More so vs IND than SEA... Kaep needs to understand one thing, he does not have to bullet the ball 100mph everytime he throws it.
He also looks rattled because of the Read Option not working as effective as it used to. Listen, one part of your game is taken away and one thing i think Kaep is not is a pocket passer. Yes, maybe last year he did it sometimes but still we have to take into account the whole situation and its only one year fellas lets see some consistency

Simms said all game they weren't getting open. They showed countless examples of the receivers getting blanketed. Kaep has never had issues finding receivers but has had problems the last 2 games. Did he all of a sudden forget how to throw the ball or is his limited receiving core not able to get open? No VD either. Dude literally had no weapons.He has been successful without using the read option. Do yall watch the games?

Receivers weren't getting open but keep was wild on open throws today. He missed a wide open Kendall in the flat, missed Kyle deep, threw couple of times at receivers feet. In Seattle game almost nothing was open tho.besides on that pick in the end zone.... he really should've gone to kyle who was open instead of halfassing it to vd

nothing has changed. last year when teams played man to man he simply ran. This year since there are so many mobile QB's, teams are starting to learn to maintain lane integrity and keep QB's in the pocket and contained.
Yes. He was off on throws. He hasn't been poised at all. Maybe the coaching staff is asking him to do too much. Give him some easy reads and run the fukking ball. All this shyt at the line and allowing him to audible needs to be cut out for now.

Excuse me.. Last year is in the past and as you can tell the read option is not effective like it used to be witch takes half of kaeps game out. He is not a pocket passer.. He has shown this time and time again this year. When he needs to stay in the pocket and make a pass it doesn't work.
Notice last year when he was successful throwing the football it was because the read option was successful. Now that he has to throw the football as his first option, it isn't is forte. Didn't you watch his games at Nevada? He was a run first QB. Take away part of his game and watch the consequences.
