Flacco helped his squad win a ring and raked them over the coals for that. As a QB, if you help the squad get a ring, you're going to get PAID. Flacco to me was always average to above average and got hot in the playoffs. But what could the Ravens have done? Let him walk? They had no choice. Shoulda worked out a deal sooner.

Dude, so many people built him up to an unsustainable level. No receivers? Hey, he will overcome that! Dumb playcalling? Hey, he will overcome that! Line breaking down? Hey he will overcome that! Dude has started like 16 regular season games and is a raw QB. There will be good games (GB) and bad ones (yesterday). The people freaking out the most are the ones that built him up like the second coming of Christ. We got an OC who can't even scheme easy, high percentage pass plays. How is a young QB supposed to succeed? And if we draft another QB, is Roman going to be able to develop him?

Man, we got a wonderful deal for Alex. Kaep has scored 2 more total TDs than he has. We'd be the same at the very best or worse with him, no draft picks and much less cap space because of his contract. Best case scenario is if Kaep can get a very manageable contract and he plays above that contract. Win win for us.
