What is swag?

How would you define it and why do so many people on here feel distaste or even hostility towards the word.


Personally, I think swag is style and confidence. It's the thing that grabs people's attention and makes them want to be like you.

Someone can wear the tackiest thing but if they have swag they will make it a trend.

I chalk it up to each ones own personal style, substance.

Swag comes from swagger. And like you said thats your confidence the way you carry yourself.

But people started over using the word so now its played. And when most people hear the word swag now a days they associate it with hypebeasts and trend followers.

Synonyms would include: charisma, soul, taste and/or flavor, style, character, individuality, idiosyncrasy, etc

i dont use that word at all but too me

its regardless of your appearance u can hold attention to someone or a crowd of people just by your confidence and demeanor u have.
ur aura brings them too u

people gravitate toward u so easily and just cant help it

the respectful tone and manners you have your approach its just this in a sense

your overall appeal that impresses anyone with the way you carry yourself and conversate that u cant hate but respect

The old term for swag was "style", just like the old term for Thot was "hoodrat" or "chickenhead"......There was no term for hater back in the day but the closest thing we had was the word "sucker"
