low end theory is my favorite, but midnight marauders is better imo. not by some significant margin, but mm had slightly sharper production and slightly sharper rhyme delivery. following up an undisputed classic with another undisputed classic cemented atcq as one of the goat hip hop groups for me.

Low end theory was my favorite, but as I get older, I play Midnight Marauders more. I won’t fault anybody who mentions one of the first three albums. They’re all special for different reasons.

It's still The Low End Theory.

Not only is it my favorite album of all-time, but it's also Tribe at their very best. I copped Midnight Marauders the first day it dropped, and it's obviously amazing too, but there's a few skippable joints on there. With The Low End Theory, I just play that album track after track, front to back.

The Low End Theory is Tip's favorite too.
