No it wasn't.
True was basically a Bay album plus Bout it Bout it. I lived in the Bay at the time, I copped off the strength of West Coast Bad Boyz and 99, shyt was meh at best (Last Dance was fire, so was Bout it Bout it, fukk them hoes). Album made no noise in the Bay.

To an extent I see your point, but it had some really strong tracks on it that saved it. Would You Take A Bullet For Your Homie, I'm Bout It, fukk These Hoes...But I probably shouldn't have included it in the nest No Limit albums.

Would you take a bullet was originally on West Coast Bad Boyz. Have you heard West Coast Bad Boyz? Numerous Bay classics on there. I haven't heard every No Limit release (I don't think anyone has!). But WCBB is vastly superior to Ghetto D and TTTG.

I've got it, but I haven't listened to it. Listened to some of the second one.

:ehh: in hindisght ... 15/16 years later you might be right bruh

But being that im from Queens NY , born & raised and still here ... this album was refreshing as fukk. it wasn't until years later i picked up on his back catalog.

edit: I thought you were refrencing "True to the game" and not "true" which was a dope album.
