smarks like the moveset and japan "mystique"
kids think the demon paint and leather jacket are cool.
women find him handsome.

he hits all demos you need to be a megapushed babyface.
dude is already an international wrestling star before wwe, which vince obviously cares about (shyt, he had a fukking armani exchange endorsement).
he draws fans whenever they do live events in japan or the uk.
memorable music. imitable entrance. cool merch.

plus, wwe is absolutely aware that at any point, if a new babyface emerges, they can reunite him with doc and karl and let him play the smug heel with huge henchmen protecting him like he did in japan.
he came to wwe with a ready-made gimmick, look and everything. neville is just beginning to figure out his identity beyond flips and it's great, but finn's been where neville is now for years.

i never liked ultimate warrior as a kid and didn't appreciate bret hart until i was grown. it didn't matter. whether or not you like it is irrelevant. certain people just pop the crowd. this isn't real sports. all this extra shyt matters.

dude's star in 3 continents:

Nevile has shown that he understands in-ring psychology and knows how to tell a story in a match. Balor is a guy who can't even bother to switch up his style when he's "the Demon".

Also, how are some people saying it's unfair to harp on Balor for being short while simultaneously saying it's alright that Nevile doesn't get the same push for being ugly. If that isn't hypocrisy at its finest, I don't know what is.:russ:

It's the truth tho. Some of y'all act like he got pull with these broads.

He got as much pull as a dean ambrose.

I haven't seen no broads go lust crazy over him at a live show.

I've witnessed these ring rats go crazy for Jeff hardy, Shawn Michaels , & randy Orton.

Neville is definitely bigger than Balor

when it comes to Balor I think it has more to do with his frame than his height. He was looking like Mysterio circa 96' last night lol. He's very narrow and slim. It's funny that he makes Rollins look imposing in comparison when he's on the small side as well.

Could be worse, could look like ZSJ

What is "short" for a wrestler? Balor is about 5'9" which isn't that much shorter than other stars like John Cena who is 5'11".

Most of the times it's just up to the E if you are considered a cruiserweight or heavy. Cause a lot of these guys in both divisions could easily be in the other one if they so choose to do so.

and a lot of heights/weights are still kayfabed.
like the idea that owens and roman are the same weight when roman so clearly has at LEAST 20 lbs. on him. or AJ styles only being 4 lbs. lighter than jinder mahal.

Exactly. Cena aint much taller than someone like Daniel Bryan but they would have you thinking he is so much bigger than he is (of course muscle mass is a nother story) when they were looking each other right in the eye for the most part.

100% agree - the reason Neville isn't being pushed like Balor is because dude looks like he ran into a brick wall face first. Neville is A LOT better in the ring than Balor, from what I've seen.

I'm not a Balor fan, but I Don't mind if he gets a mega push. He's worked his way up for years, so I can see why he deserves it in terms of paying dues. His matches are watchable and the entrance and paint are cool. :manny:

Plus he was a founder for the most over and recognized international stable in wrestling. Can't hate that. :ld:
