Yeah as much as I enjoyed Cruiserweight Tournament I keep thinking the cruiserweight division is just a way to take all the top talent off the market while avoiding a Daniel Bryan situation
You don't think Neville seems closer to being a viable main eventer after this run dominating the CW division than he did before?

He's never gonna main event Mania or anything but his status has been elevated by being able to present himself as a dominant champion rather than miscellaneous midcarder which is his ceiling if the Cruiserweight division doesn't exist

The whole game switched right the fukk up in the heavyweight division once Rey won. Got a lot of respect for Rey thou.
People like Rey and DB had a crazy long rise to the top, and WWE just strapping a rocket to Finn when I didn't think he was anywhere near as special Sami was in NXT.
I'll be fair thou, he had to hold it down when Sami/Hideo/Owens/Neville/Tyson (when he was finally coming into his own) were all gone.

Vince saw him as Mighty Mouse, so the run now is probably the best Paul Levesque can do. He's certainly better off now though
I'm not sure about charisma because Neville speaks with that harsh accent but to his credit Neville looks like a troll and they finally allowed him to play one, hence why he's one of their most consistent acts right now.

I'm with ya but I also think it's a double edged sword, cause now Neville could get popular as fukk but they can just keep him confined to CW division no problem.
Anyway it's a concern I had but I also like that there's this whole other division with all its own stuff going on.

I feel like this could be a spin-off thread on its own, but where would you guys put Austin Aries in this equation? Like how do you justify Balor being pushed as a main eventer on the main roster and Aries being delegated to 205 Live?
