Is it just me or does X-Men have the goat comic book storylines? The only other one i can think of with as many is Batman.

I'm no hardcore comic head so i'm probably wrong.Spider-Man probably up there too.

spiderman has alright storylines but he also has alot of shytty ones.

Anything that continuously been around that long is gonna have more horrible shyt that good stuff. Even Batman has a bunch of nearly unreadable shyt.

true not to get off topic but as far as amazing spiderman goes the best stuff was in the late 70's early 80's (the black suit saga)

the early 90's were not bad ( They prob got a spacial place in my heart because that is when i started reading it).

Most of this shyt was just cool cause we were kids. Onslaught was dope to me cause of marvel vs capcom but I tried to read it a few years back and it was :trash:

Death of superman was another one I thought was dope but in retrospect that shyt was stupid as hell

The actual death of Superman story was stupid, but the Reign of Superman books and parts of Return still hold up pretty well.

Age of Apocalypse is legendary
Onslaught the story got slammed when it came out..Onslaught was supposed to be the Galactus of the X world. They messed it up. He was unstoppable and it ended silly.
Fatal Attractions is legendary..Wolverine got his admantium ripped out, Cable got PUNKED THE fukk OUT, Colossus turned on the team, and Magneto as taken down for a minute.
X Cutioner's Song is underrated..people hate on it but Stryfe was on fire in this story. Had some great lines and ETHER for everyone.
God Loves, Man Kills is a great classic story everyone loves.
I, Magneto story by Claremont..unforgettable
The Savage Land story by Claremont with Rogue and Magneto's affair starting. How many writers have gone back to that? Nearly all of them.
The Acolytes intro story/Claremont's last story X Men Vol 2 #1-3...the one that sold 8 million copies. Legendary.

Phoenix Saga....followed by Days of Future Past

Age of Apocalypse is probably the most overrated X-men story. The story is mostly garbage, I think people just enjoyed it back then because it was a bunch of alternate takes on beloved characters.

Nah, AoA was the first alternate reality story that MATTERED and had real ramifications on the main 616 universe. It actually rewrote the X-Verse and filled in a lot of gaps from dangling plotlines (everything to why Sinister ordered the Mutant Massacre to what Cable could have been without the T.O.). Also, it was before Marvel got time travel and alternate reality heavy so it kind of changed the game at the time. And it was a storyline that branched to every book so nobody's favorite character was left out or forgotten about.

It was the best X-Crossover ever

Onslaught was a fukking monster...and he had the whole Marvel Universe shook, Avengers, Spiderman, X-Men, everyone

Onslaught was underrated, but it was one of the many angles spun out of The Age of Apocalypse. Once again, the AoA created a LIST of future storylines that the X-Books use to this very day.

i'm not saying it wasn't huge or important to the grand scheme of things, i'm saying it was poorly written.

Age of Apocalypse was when Sinister's real name finally came out...who the fukk "Essex"? That's Sinister? Then it all made sense. All of the damn Nathan characters he was connected to had his first name somehow..lol
