I always dreamed that I would retire in Montana on a small ranch on a lake

That aside...

If I hit the lotto
I would build a sweet ass log cabin home on this lake
and spend a week or more out here every year
especially when im stressed

shyt if I won the lotto, I'd build a modern mansion on some island somewhere and live that castaway life.

If it’s anything like Colorado, I’d love it.

Was there in August, and did so much outdoor shyt. I did some white water rafting, fly fished, and hiked around 8 miles up a mountain. Tried an elk burger which was pretty good, and overall enjoyed it. Cabin and area I was in was beautiful.

I was in Montpelier for work last year. Surprisingly, the food was good. VT reminds me a lot of Canada. Heavy French influences there. A place where everyone knows everyone. I think you have to be born and raised there to appreciate it. Type of place you don't club, you bar hop.

I spent some time in Sioux Falls SD for a project years back. Most people were very outdoorsy. Fishing, hiking, snowmobile, etc was what they did for fun.

Winters were no joke out there. They don't do school closings for snow. Only when it's 20 below or more.

Little Indian casinos on every corner

95% cacs then you get a couple refugees from Sudan & Congo

Could never live there but it'd be cool to check out for a short stay

Look at nature. Stand out in the middle of nowhere and enjoy a temporary peace and silence from the rest of the world.
