So what happens when every Roc Nation artist (J. Cole, Jay, Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye) and the people also down like Usher, Coldplay deamaus, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Jack White and others all take their music off of spotify and beats? shyt, even Taylor Swift is on Tidal but not spotify. Any statement anyone makes is premature before 5PM tomorrow when they have the press conference, but the way nikkas on here root against every black entertainer is crazy.

Jimmy Iovine got more pull thus Apple bringing him over with the Beats deal. Spotify, maybe but Apple isn't going anywhere.

i can't see myself using it...i rarely use Spotify as it is.

i read something like Jay got the artists on his side of it due to them being able to make more profit from Tidal than Spotify.
so if it makes these artists more money then you know where they'll go/promote.

i know one of its selling points is the quality but people won't be streaming flac to their phones on the go like that will they ?

sounds like many major and mid tier artist are going to begin removing their entire catalogs from Spotify much like Taylor Swift did. If you dont think that will impact spotify you are crazy. This is their punishment for not paying artist hardly anything.

Also TIDAL is the same price as a premium Spotify account....$9.99

Should be interesting to see this play out...Looks like Jay already has some big time artist of all genres backing Tidal
