I honestly think you're just arguing for the sake of arguing, but just for clarity here, I said you were distorting the point, not the words. (But now it appears you're doing both.)
But anyway, from the excerpt that YOU YOURSELF QUOTED, she says that "obviously there have been reactionaries online
BEFORE Trump." (key word here being BEFORE)
She credits Trump with boosting the Alt-right into the mainstream AND notes Gamergate's significance in bringing together cross sections of these dipshyts that I described earlier in my first post on the first page.
If Gamergate occured before Trump, how is Trump the genesis of this movement? Neither she or I is dismissing Trump's role in the growth of the Alt-Right, and he's clearly of greater importance to their rise, status, and influence than Gamergate was. But they didn't start as a movement under Trump.
But as to leave zero room for ambiguity here, take this quote directly from her book "Kill All Normies"
Does that make where she stands on the timeline and significance of Gamergate to the Alt-Right clear enough for you?
