The sci fi channel was the only channel that my dad watched when he was home. I grew up watching that, Star Trek, Firefly, Buffy, Battlestar: Galactica, X-files, Twilight Zone. Movies like Blade Runner, The Fly, Species, Tremors, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, Gattica, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Monster Movies.

My grandparents also had a basement full of comic books.

Sci-Fi is popular. I just feel like it's got its own little community and fan base that makes it feel more intimate.

I never seen any of those shows

Its funny to me how women get mad at us for playing video games saying that they are a waste of time etc, but they can waste their time doing dumb shyt like watch reality tv all day whats the difference between a man playing a game that he likes, and you doing the things you like to do like go shopping go to clubs.
