Side story: I was always WAY ahead of my grade school work wise. When I was in the 1st grade I was doing 3rd grade math and reading so naturally I was bored as a motherfukker in class. I would finish our spelling tests in 5 mins and write notes on the test mocking my teacher with big fancy ass words.

In retaliation, she gave me some "special" homework with hella complex words. One of them was "Extravaganza" which she misspelled as "Extravganza" (missing an A). I spelled it correctly, and she used her misspelled answer sheet to grade it and counted it wrong.

Mama flipped her shyt and went up there and cussed my teacher out Lmfao. That old hoe retired the next year

Honestly bro a lot of what she said SOUNDS like my parents. I already said I disagree with any hitting that's not the back of the hands or the butt (that's fukking weird to type, I admit) and defo disagree with handling it like that out in the open in 2019...

But breh I grew up in a fukked up neighborhood where brodies were smoking blacks at age 10 and (fist) fighting tournaments was a game we played. I thought all that shyt was normal.

I can't imagine what kind of dumb shyt I would have done if I didn't know FOR SURE 100% that Ma was going to wear my little ass out if I slipped up.

Edit: if we on the young black male subject, if anything, ma taught me how to live life with ZERO room for error. So when I got out into the world as a black male with a stereotypically "ghetto" name i already knew what it was. All the brehs I went to college with were way the fukk behind when it came to operating socially as black men. They didn't know how to deal with police, or how to detect subtle racism, or how not to end up in "you don't belong here" situations. So I wouldn't change a thing. My first grade teacher had a belt in her classroom and would whoop kids in the closet.

The principal had a big ass wooden paddle and would call kids to the office and paddle them.

And if all that failed my mama would beat my ass when I got home.

The only problem I have with this is hitting the kid in his face and cursing in front of the teacher. She opened herself up to CPS coming through.

But like i said other than her hitting him in the face that's basically how mama went off on us when we got in trouble.

Of course not. But my mama literally used to say "I hit you so nobody else will" and I used to hate that shyt because I honestly thought she was just mean.

And then when I got older like 12-13 and nikkas started WILDING I mean carrying guns, taking their grandma's car, smoking weed, breaking into houses...
