I never got the genius remarks either, but then again I don't know why Kanye's music post Graduation is so revered-I think it's all just polished mediocrity, but seeing all the love he got just made me think I was out of touch or something.The only thing I can think of is that Kanye made good music at a time where most music was trash and most artists and producers sucked (outside of a few), which made Kanye seem like a genius in comparison, and the rep just stuck with him.
LOL @ not being exceptional. I would love to see a picture of your current girl being that your standards are way above high. I'm willing to go in the betting room and make a Paypal bet of $100 where I'm banned for 1 year if I dont deliver, that your girl is not up to the same high standard of being"exceptional" that u place on Kanye. I'd put money on it your girl is a 6 at best. I dont believe anything u are saying at this point. A man does something like make 3 arguably classic hip hop albums, something not every rapper can do yet here u are saying he's not "exceptional." Talking about a fall off as if Prince didnt fall off....Like Kanye cant get back on track like Prince did when he fell off. I wont believe anything u say further until u place that ban bet and come get this easy $100 and post 3 pics of u and ya current girl to prove to me that u live by the same high standards u place on Kanye as "exceptional." Thats an easy $100 to prove me wrong and if I dont deliver I'm banned for 1 year, but you wont place that bet because your girl isn't "exceptional." You say Kanye isn't exceptional and I got $100 says your girl isn't exceptional either.

But honestly why do people call him a genius ? If anything he’s a marketing genius since he pretty much says anything to get attention , but as far as the actual genius people like to say he is I don’t see it
I mean Kim K with the prison stuff is more than anything Kanye has done (even though Kims only doing it for free publicity but whatever )

Good producer back in the day though. John Legend was one of his first artists. Brought Common back to earth with 2 good albums.
Of course, the Blueprint.
What is most impressive is his run as a solo artist and being self-made as an artist. He was a producer at his core. But he made himself a star when neither Jay and Dame believed in him initially. Dame later got on board when he saw Ye putting in work on his debut. Jay was still skeptical. He proved everyone wrong.

Its so easy to disregard 20 years of impact and type "Kanye isn't exceptional" but when that mirror is put on you and I say "Well show us what "exceptional" really is and post a pic of your exceptional looking girl, you cant do it with an easy $100 bucks being waved in your face. Here u are stressing that a man who has proven himself for 20 years isnt "exceptional" when u cant even meet the standards you set for another man when it comes to what kind of woman u allow on your shoulder. You probably dont even have a girl , let alone having a 'below exceptional' one. Its either one or the other....thats why all u could do was respond by calling me a Kanye stan instead of getting this easy $100.
