Serious question here: What makes you, you?

If drugs can change your personality and your outlook on life, what does that mean? If thoughts and opinions can be changed so quickly, with a simple chemical reaction, what does that say about your thoughts?

For me, the world looks one way one day and then another way the next day. What is the baseline here? What is a true feeling? Does that even exist?

How can one make life decisions when chemicals dictate how one will view the world and chemicals can change daily?

That's the thing, I don't know right now. If I had to answer I say my thoughts and opinions (maybe?).

Im compassionate, forgiving and even tho I have a fucced up way at looking at things, im strangely optimistic. I think too much and my mind is usually racing so when I get high it calms down. I can forget why im mad when im high and as long as nobody brings it up when im sober the conflict is over.
