yea basically u take a file off youtube copy the link of the song off youtube then paste in this box and then they will convert it to any type of kbps u want and they will also convert it to to a mp3 file so u can then also download it.

actually were not because the songs that are being uploaded on youtube are from different sources some are from cassette rips but most of them are from cd rips

so all i was doing was converting the songs uploaded on youtube and converting them into mp3 files so i can download it and changing the kbps on the file that's it

i just recently found about bitrate and when i found out that all my music was in bad quality i deleted everything and downloaded everything all over again now everything i have is in 320 kbps great quality stuff like 192 kbps is good only for stuff like i pods and u don't have alot of storage.


but for people like me that put stuff in their car listen to music that way u can play the music loud.
it is different i can tell there is more clarity in the music then before

That is not the best quality of you are playing on loud speakers, Lossless files are such as flac or apples version of lossless. Mp3's are good for storage, and listening to music with regular headphones, or cheap sound system. If you record your own music or have acess to studio recordings or high have high quality cd's such as sacd's, those are the best since they are 24bit/96khz. 128bit files taken from youtube is a joke if you are serious about audio quality on a quality sound system.

@Buckeye Fever i download my music all off youtube and then convert it to 320 kbps using this program called mp3fiber and the quality is amazing in the car

you cant convert song quality back up once its been converted down.your mind is playing tricks on you if you think you hear better quality in your car.

I wrote a couple posts in a thread a while back breaking down how this shyt works. I explained things pretty well so that even idiots could understand. Maybe I'll look for 'em at some point (or maybe not ), but I'll say a couple, brief things here:

You cannot (well, you can obviously, but you absolutely SHOULD NOT) "up-convert" a file (for example, take a 192 and convert it to 320). All you're doing is making it sound worse.

Downloading shyt from YouTube should be your absolute LAST resort. If you have to turn to YouTube for music in 2013, then I truly feel sorry for you. But then to transcode it UP to 320? that may be one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard.

I saw this clown actually post that mp3 >>>>> flac and actually laughed out loud. That statement should've made me back out, but I just couldn't do it. The quality of my music is very important to me, and I figured I'd attempt to help this lost soul. Of course you won't listen, but can't say I didn't try. Like I said, I wrote up some shyt in an earlier thread that explains shyt pretty well. If you're serious about music quality, just search by my name and "FLAC", "lossless" or "transcode" and you should be able to find 'em.
