@Buckeye Fever i download my music all off youtube and then convert it to 320 kbps using this program called mp3fiber and the quality is amazing in the car
i like mine at 320 kbps to me that is the best qaulity there is.
I wrote a couple posts in a thread a while back breaking down how this shyt works. I explained things pretty well so that even idiots could understand. Maybe I'll look for 'em at some point (or maybe not), but I'll say a couple, brief things here:
You cannot (well, you can obviously, but you absolutely SHOULD NOT) "up-convert" a file (for example, take a 192 and convert it to 320). All you're doing is making it sound worse.
Downloading shyt from YouTube should be your absolute LAST resort. If you have to turn to YouTube for music in 2013, then I truly feel sorry for you. But then to transcode it UP to 320?that may be one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard.
I saw this clown actually post that mp3 >>>>> flac and actually laughed out loud. That statement should've made me back out, but I just couldn't do it. The quality of my music is very important to me, and I figured I'd attempt to help this lost soul. Of course you won't listen, but can't say I didn't try. Like I said, I wrote up some shyt in an earlier thread that explains shyt pretty well. If you're serious about music quality, just search by my name and "FLAC", "lossless" or "transcode" and you should be able to find 'em.
You don't know what you're talking about. An mp3 can sound horrible even though its from an cd, I've heard it many times. Also an mp3 cam be ripped from cassettte, and still soumd good if encoded at a good bitrate. Cassettes didn't sound bad, just not as clea or loud as cd's.u a idiot but im not suprised at this smh imo most files come in mp3 u can store more files on your i pod then any other file codec because unless the song was ripped from a cassette the quality is going to sound good regardless because it was ropped from a cd smh lmao
smh at my nikka @Buckeye Fever believing rhyme king lol
when i import songs off store bought CDs to itunes i have to choose the bitrate, if i dont want to up-convert what is the best choice? You cannot (well, you can obviously, but you absolutely SHOULD NOT) "up-convert" a file (for example, take a 192 and convert it to 320). All you're doing is making it sound worse.
