Its interesting that when you cite "new gen" you list artists with careers that started nearly 2 decades ago.Drake is the only relatively recent one on that list. Even chris started out 15yrs ago.

To put this in perspective Omarion was still on the charts when T.Swift started out.



i would assume "new" would refer to your cardi(s) , mumble rappers, Future, thot rappers, etc. if you wanna get positive with it J.Cole would count too.


The fact is nobody has the charisma from new gen to pull this off. A few artists have the catalog for it tho...
