Its interesting that when you cite "new gen" you list artists with careers that started nearly 2 decades ago.Drake is the only relatively recent one on that least. Even chris started out 15yrs ago.

To put this in perspective Omarion was still on the charts when T.Swift started out.:flabbynsick:

i would assume "new" would refer to your cardi(s) , mumble rappers, Future, thot rappers, etc. if you wanna get positive with it

I don’t think most of them have the material to do a Super Bowl halftime show, without having to link up together.:yeshrug:

Reppin
Ft. Stewart, Ga
BTS would absolutely SHATTER viewing records. White people LOVE them.

If we’re talking black artists its a damn shame but I can’t think of too many “newer” artists who could pull it off. They mostly suck and have horrible stage presences. Kendrick Lamar is about as good as it gets and he’s performing this year. Weeknd already went last year.

If we’re talking legacy artists then, as much as he’s become an embarrassment, Kanye would be a great pick. Jay-Z would also be an excellent selection. Usher could put on a great show. Stevie Wonder would be AMAZING

The fact is nobody has the charisma from new gen to pull this off. A few artists have the catalog for it tho...:yeshrug:

Super Bowl halftime is often dominated by legacy acts. Lionel Hampton and Ella Fitzgerald were performing in the 70s. Patti Labelle and Tony Bennett in the 90s. Even Michael Jackson was over 20 years in the game when he had his shot.

I'd hate it but doja & cardi are the only choices that make sense.
