A lot of shyt. He says he didn't believe anything was scarier than people til he got to Alaska and he'd been shot at from Fayetteville all the way to Germany.

Prior to the Fourth Kind stuff he used to hike up there a lot. Went fishing one night, halfway dozed off and when he woke up there was this glowing light in the lake he was fishing in. Says he looked up and checked for a full moon reflected off the water and there wasn't shyt in the sky but stars. Noped the fukk out. Grabbed his small pack, broke the tent down, and was up out of there in just a few minutes. About a half mile back the way he came he says his dog came out of nowhere, scared as hell. He didn't even check to look for him because the only thing on his mind was getting back to the nearest trail or town. He said the dog was so scared and panicked he opted to just carry that sad thing until he calmed down :snoop: This is a 100+ lb Rott too.

After that is when he says he started taking all the rumors and stuff seriously. Particularly missing persons and cross cultural references for occult. shyt, he believes without a doubt he's followed today - and with how he breaks things down I'm inclined to believe him. He's not crazy or anything, but he keeps two analog clocks and one digital going no matter what and checks on them periodically. Each one is slightly off from the other and he does it on purpose so that he's always more or less sure things are normal. He swears up and down that 'losing' time is best way to tell if you've been visited. He doesn't even interpret what specifically he's run into as hostile. He's completely normal outside of all this and its not like he ever comes off aggressive or tinfoil either.

I've seen some shyt too so I let him cook :hubie: like I said he ain't weird or anything... and maybe by the time I'm his age I'll be doing the same shyt.
whoa the fukk up.breh. Your pops has had missing time? Is this before or after hw had you?

Allegedly these New Orleans vampire stories are true.
I don't know whether it is true or not that vampires actually exist ( I think more than likely they are just acts of devil worship) but like I told you before you were leaves possesses some of the wickedest evil she you can imagine.
Not exactly. Do you know what EDB's are?

maybe, i don't know but i never saw 'trauma' come off of him when he tells it. usually people (at least in the interviews and stories i've seen) either got huge mental blocks to the whole experience in varying ways or won't recollect at all. he thinks the time thing is an effect of proximity from what i understand. thinks of it as an alarm system more than a "they got me again :mjcry:" alert

there's freakier shyt he describes from up there but ironically it comes more the eskimo areas.

Hank's are alleged old slave ghost who Spirits allegedly Rome around sites of old plantations
You mean "Haints"? I have heard of haints. I'd probably be stuck there too if I was them. Our ancestors shouldn't suffer like that.:mjcry:
Unless there is something keeping them there feeding off of them.:merchant:

naw just the typical "if animals don't fukk with it, neither should you" stuff. he didn't really peer into lore so much as he liked to draw commonalities between figures, taboo, and relationships between locals and whatever was out there. the furthest he's gone when talking to me was something along the lines of souls not being a human construct, but I could tell that was something he was still pondering himself.

after all this he got a degree in theology too. whatever balance he made of the world works for him i guess
My cousin went out there to help. He said he saw a gigantic orb above the superdome one night, like huge.
if i'm thinking of the same thing, it was definitely a flare dropped by the army or coast guard guys. it wasn't a one time event either... lights out there were shyt and it became a semi-reliable way of illuminating an area and at the same time letting all parties know that there was a military presence to deescalate a bit.

edit: i'll ask him about the hungry places thing, I think he's mentioned it in one of his general themes rants. i remember coming back from arizona telling him about a place i sped past and he had a bit to say about that

My cousin said it lookes more like a condensed cloud than a light. Like smoke inside a glass ball.
