Caleb...only because it's viewed that Poles already failed at QB with Fields so if Caleb has even a "bad" rookie year Poles is probably out of there. I don't think any GM has ever got to QB3 when QB1 and 2 don't pan out.

Ryan Pace drafted Justin Fields in 2021. He was the Bears general manager from 2015-2021. Pace also drafted Mitch Tribustky. Pace is now in Atlanta.

Ryan Poles inherited Justin Fields. Poles didn't become the Bears GM until 2022.

All of these QBs success depends on the team that is built around them. I don't think any of the QB are THAT bad it's more so some of teams who drafted them. Namely Washington and Atlanta.

Ryan Poles inherited Justin Fields. Poles didn't become the Bears GM until 2022.
Doesn't matter if Poles drafted him or not. He is the one who put the pieces around him that led them to 8 wins in 2 years. He would have been better off getting rid of Fields when he first became the GM in 2022. If Caleb is bad his rookie year I don't see how Poles has a job after the season. Nobody is surviving winning 6 or less games for 3 straight years.
