Draft groupthink is crazy. What did Caleb do to become the consensus choice at #1
While I agree nobody is getting fired for taking Caleb you're still right. The Bears didn't even look at another player. Chalk it up as another reason why Poles is a bad GM and that organization is bad.

He just went with the consensus from the media and draft analyst

But if you have that many QBs with 1st round grades then there should’ve been a much greater debate on who to take 1st

Brock Bowers got Tom Telesco fired funnily enough. Great pick but wasn’t the player the Raiders truly needed.

Patriots GM or whoever is in charge of the draft should’ve been fired for this past draft. Patriots traded the pick that ended up being Ladd McConkey for picks that ended up being Jalynn Polk and Javon Baker…

Pats traded 1,149 yards and 7 touchdowns for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns :wow:

Not looking great so far, but it’s only been one season.

McConkey was on a playoff team with a veteran QB and a lot more talent on the team than Polk or Baker.

With that said, Polk looked beyond horrible. He seemed to drop almost every damn pass that was thrown his way.

The Chargers had more talent, but if you swap Polk for McConkey are they still a playoff team? He led that team in yards and receptions as a rookie…one season or not, the Patriots fukked that one up.
