What prevents the south from getting active like the east and the west with black movements ?

Lol blacks actually have economic and political power In the south, if we don't like something we vote and it gets handled. We have prospering communities with majority black people and the provide the most black senators and congresspeople.

We got our own shyt and they have theirs. Outside of school and hunting we have little reason to interact so we just let them be for the most part and they usually do the same.

not shocking nationalistic movements are usually an urban thing, the South historically (it has changed in recent decades) was a region dominated by rural living (little known fact the Black Panthers got their inspiration from a black group in Lowndes County, Alabama so that isn't always the case)

Like another poster said, we don't really mix like that in the south. Even the black dudes that hunt with white boys hunt, hang, and go back to their respective communities. I can go weeks at a time without interacting with white people. I would imagine being holed up like rats with people who hate you would make you insecure and psychologically damaged enough to keep begging white people to love you

It happens just not in large numbers because its majority black people and also the media down here doesn't cover it as much. When I see marches in the NE it appears to be a pretty diverse crowd and media bias is always towards the East Coast.
