What's up people? What's your current routine?

I'm currently on my 4th cycle of 5/3/1 boring but big. 3 days a week instead of 4 with deadlifts removed. Want to eventually hit a 3 plate incline and push 200lbs overhead. What are y'all doing?

:picard:

Running the b*stardized 5/3/1 Who Was CNS program from BB.com again and then will be moving into meet prep/peaking program sometime after that.

upper / lower body split.

Day 1: upper
Day 2: lower
Day 3: rest
Day 4: rest
Day 5: day1
Day 6: day2
Day 7: rest

Upper-Lower-Upper-Lower-Upper-Lower-Rest is better.

Any reason why you're running 5/3/1 with deadlifts removed?

Used to do that and I wasn’t recovering quick enough. I felt very injury prone.

I advise everyone to do what works for them and allows their body to fully heal.

Plus Fridays and Saturdays are less crowded gym days :wow:

Don't compete in powerlifting anymore, so I really just don't feel like doing them anymore.
I’ve scaled back on deadlifts myself.

I like them. But I can also feel very injury at risk the heavier I go. I scale back to 3 plates.

It’s a decent weight and I have nothing to prove. :hubie:

Ego lifting is a one way ticket to bad posture and physical therapy.

I strongly advise everyone to listen to their body when they workout. Push yourself but know when that extra “rep” is too much / overtraining/ putting yourself at risk for injury.

What rep ranges do you use for deads?
