They were $300 a piece....we had just put a down payment on a house and bought new furniture.We ain’t have it like that

It’s all good and congrats on the crib. Depending on the manufacturer, you can get the pedestals heavily discounted at like a Sears Outlet. Most of them are universal fit across the models in the same manufacturer. I’m front load gang all the way. I got the pedestals cause me and the wife are tall and they make a huge difference...hardly any bending over. Keep the door open on the washer after use and a quick wipe of the seal on the bottom and zero issues.

Not sure what brand in particular you should be looking at, but what I would do is call at least 5-7 appliance repair persons in your area. Ask them what brands they see they are repairing the most and start by weeding those out. If reviews are backing up that those brands have issues.

Also, ask are they seeing a pattern of parts going wrong with a dryer or washer.

I got the samsung joint with the screen on it and 2 yesrs ago it was 3700.00. Waste of fukking money too. It was installed alowith the house so no money out of pocket but I would have rather had more space in my fridge tbh. The washer and dryer are samsung too but honestly I love them, no complaints. I can wash a weeks worth of laundry in 2 loads, maybe 3 if I want to wash certain things separately.

Get something functional. I don't need a display or smart fridge. Maytag washer, He, large capacity of washer, basic dryer. Don't buy show pieces

That’s why you buy the pedestals...

That's another 500. And they upgrade the pedestals every other year or so so they become useless if you ever upgrade so no thank you
