NETGEAR R7500-100NAS Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Dual Band WiFi Gigabit Smart Router - Newegg.com
That is now my main router.

I had this router
ASUS RT-AC87U Wireless-AC2400 Dual-band Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11ac, IPv4, IPv6 - Newegg.com
Still actually have it. I have it listed on Craigslist but I might pull it down. I plugged it back up and put it in bridge mode to the Netgear and I lie to you not I transferred 2.10 GBs of data over my wireless network from one computer to another in under 20 seconds.

I've never seen transfer speeds so fast. I can stream my HDHomeRun Prime over the wireless network now with no issues as if it was a wired connection without an Xbox 360 even.

I'm sticking with those Asus devices from now on.

I have the ASUS Dark Knight and the speeds are disgusting. :scust: If I use an external HDD and connect it to my router I can stream worry free, I'm not concerned about buffers anymore these days.

The router that Time Warner installed doesn't emit a strong enough signal to reach the rooms upstairs. I called & they said I already have one of the best they offer :francis:. Gonna have to cop a really strong router this week. Any suggestions on where to look outside of Amazon & Newegg?

I just bought the Nighthawk X10. Replaced the Asus RT-AC88U. That Asus was dropping connections especially on my Nest. The Nighthawk was expensive as fukk but I wanted the best. I need that WiGig adapter for my HTPC.

I had the same issues in my AC87U. The 5Ghz became really unstable. I eventually downgraded it to a access point when I built my pfSense router, then threw it to the bushes altogether when I got my Unifi AP.
