My friend (male) and I are discussing this married couple we know.

The couple has been married for about 5 years now. Dude has a good job and pretty much supports both of them while the best she can do is receptionist and temp work which would be fine but finances have been a little bit of a struggle (they literally have moved 5 times since they have been married) and she insist they stay in an expensive area so she can be close to her parents even though they would save a lot more money if the moved to another part of town.

So within the last few years the wife decided that she wanted to be a cheerleader. She is 34/35 years old but has a dance background. She got in shape and did the try-outs but did not make the team. However she is allowed to hang around as an "ambassador." Which means she can hang out with the squad, dress in the outfit and go to the games but doesn't get paid. She even went to the draft this year when even most of the squad didn't go. IDK on whose dime that was.

Now my male friend thinks the behavior is fine b/c they are "madly in love" and b/c he is a good husband.
I think the chick is out here trying to play Kim K and trying to get chose. Maybe I am being a pessimist but I think her behavior is inappropriate. What say thecoli?

Sounds like she's playing games and doesn't really want to play the wife role. She def likes that she has a simp to fund her lifestyle (if you could call it that), but she doesn't want to be a partner in that rship it seems.

Funny thing is he's a good dude.

He and the friend I was talking to start out with the same job. The husband got married, moved to the expensive area, and is just getting by.
The friend stayed single, saved his money, got his certs, making 100k+, has his own home, and now has like 5 chicks on the roster. He use to be the biggest self-conscious nerd too. Now he's living the life.
