i know this sounds like Blasphemy coming from a proud west indian descendant such as myself...

but that 3.99 two piece special with the fries and a biscuit

is a Pretty damn good deal considering Popeyes usually don't have good specials


plus i just ain't been feeling the "yardies" in my area lately....

for one the prices have gone up at both establishments i visit...


and second both jamaican establishments have giving me some RUDE AZZ customer service lately ....and it's sad cause one of them i know is familiar with me cause i did business with thier co owner alot in the past

i mean that one byatch at the jamaican spot close to my crib had the audacity to mean mug me as i walked in the shop

plus i don't usually fukk with Jamaican dishes on a saturday night it tends to be heavy ...if i got shyt to do in the morning

im hosting a super bowl gathering at the crib...so im a go with Yankee food all this weekend...chicken wings and tenders and brown likka and beer

i'm finishing off an oxtail meal (peas and rice, fried dumplings and fried plantains) right now.

but you're really talking about two different price points. you can fill up on popeyes for under $5. my oxtail meal cost about $12.
