He's the real franchise player, more than Wall. Wall gets the empty numbers, but Beal makes them a completely different team when he's playing. I can somebody maxing him out and Washington will let him walk.

Not the same situation, Steph had ligament issues from constantly rolling his ankle that could be fixed with surgery and better ankle guards, the biggest problem with Beal is he's got brittle bones, he gets the same stress reaction in his tibia every season. It's basically a ticking time bomb until he has a fracture.
Lol. I wasn't saying these dudes have the same injury..just the fact both couldn't stay in healthy in contract years. Steph's ankle was a legit concern

Whole team trash outside of Wall & Beal. Yeah Beal has had injury concerns but I wouldn't give up on him unless they get a trade offer they can't refuse. Otherwise they need to blow everything else up.

I do think KD should at least consider them.

Surprised he wasn't mentioned at the trade deadline. They were out of the playoff picture during that time.

While I agree that they are better with Beal on the floor. Wall posts empty stats?

As far as thread is concerned (and I'm unfortunately a huge wizards fan), I think you buck up and overpay him

Let the market dictate his value.

If the Wizards had a smart GM, they would offer him something along the lines of a 4 years $60M deal and be done with it.

He shouldn't be getting anything more than that... his real value actually is probably 4 years $50M given that he's an average player.

John Wall's numbers do not lead to wins and often come at times when the game is out of reach or getting out of reach. He's a good player and I root for him, but I realized his numbers look better than their actual impact.

With the cap going up Beal is not getting 12 nor 15 million a year
