I'd have to say baseball. When you consider a pitcher standing on that mound throwing a 90 mph fastball right down the middle of the strike zone. That's >>>>>>>>>>>> any NFL pass.

Then you have the batters who can actually hit these pitches. Fouling off pitches they don't like? That's insane. I'd be lucky to hit the ball period, these cats are effortlessly fouling off pitches until they get one they like. :wow:

Then you have all the play in the field, running, catching, throwing with precise accuracy...

Yeah I vote beisbol.

Yes, your cotinued insistence on representing physical traits as skills is indeed boring.

*walks down the street and sees a really tall person*

"Oh shyt son, you got skillz!!!:whoo:"

Skill = "An organized co-ordinated activity in relation to an object or situation, which involves a whole chain of sensory, central and motor mechanisms." (loose definition).

Is height classified as a cognitive skill, perceptual skill or a motor skill?

I ask the question again:

What's the difference between - using force on a ball to make it go a certain direction (bounce pass to avoid defenders) and using force to adjust your body to go a certain direction (bouncing/avoiding defenders in the box = in other words, AGILITY)?

1. There's nothing to back up baseball players being more out of shape. Especially when you have 300 lb. football players, and fat ass quarterbacks. I just watched 6'5", 230-lb. Freddie Freeman hustle out a triple. Meanwhile this guy is dominating football. :lolbron:

Then you have fat centers and power forwards, point guards like Raymond Felton, etc. Every sport has their out of shape players.

2. Only baseball players juice huh? :troll: Not like tons of football players get in trouble for the same thing. Damn, where's Shawn Merriman? :mjpls:

:rudy:

Ray is probably a better athlete than 95% of the MLB as well as every other basketball player. Same deal with football outside a few positons.

Baseball is hand eye coordination dominated sport. If you have that, you don't need a vast set of other skills that you would in footbal or basketball. Does'nt mean its not one of the harder sports to master but there's a reason why so many athletes that can't really compete in other sports athletically go the baseball route. Hand eye is a skill that can't universally put to use in other sports.

You can apply this to golf as well.
