People front like i'm trolling bout east coast media.
But All you have to do is ask yourself why east coast artists with lesser success are often equated or placed above artists from other areas whom had better success? And it's NEVER the other way around.

Is this even a real debate in the US brehs? I swear every six months there's a Bone vs Wu thread here. For what it's worth, they were never that big in Europe. Don't know one Bone stan, never heard them at parties, not even when I was listening to HH radios. Only time I ever heard a Bone song otherwise than when I was listening to the album was yeah Crossroads on MTV, that's it. Meanwhile Wu joints still pop up here and there, there were articles about Wu last album in mainstream media, Meth and them touring, you still see random people with Wu merchandise, etc

No, this is definitely not a real debate here in the US. Bone stans are rabid, delusional and have some type of inferiority complex when it comes to Wu-tang. It's not good enough for them that Bone is a dope and legendary hip hop act, they have to have them bigger than Wu...which they just aren't.

Name one that flopped like OB4CL flopped and gets similar props
Name producers that have never produced the lion's share of any classic albums like premier and pete rock,yet get placed amongst nikkas that actually have done that.

A band who put out a 5 minute track, with no hook and rhymes heavy on slang as a single (Triumph) is not going to sell more than a band that puts out singles like Crossroads.

That isn't the case in those Wu headlined shows. Neither group is particularly popular in this generation and Wu headlined those shows in EVERY location.

Wu probably seem to be more popular nowadays as probably see them around more with bigger artists and they've released an album not that long ago too and even their members doing solos on a regular that probably get more attention. I don't hold any real relevance to who headlines in terms of that means who's better though, it's subjective anyway, I like both groups a lot anyway.

Wu headlined because they're a bigger and more iconic group. Bottom line. There's no way you can spin a group that performs before Jurassic 5 at shows as being more iconic and legendary within the culture than Wu-tang.
