Im talking solo albums also

Ghost and Masta Killas last few albums have all been dope, OB4CL2 was arguably top 10 album of the 2000s

wtf have bone been doing throughout this period? nothing

no hits, no critically acclaimed albums, no albums that bone fans have raved about, just bullshyt

dog, nobody cares about those albums except wutang stans.

what has bone thugs done during that period? well when they actually did stuff with a lil promotion they dropped a gold album with hit singles, a platinum movie, an AMA award & krayzie won a grammy.

:sas2:

So what are we considering Ohio breh?

They a short drive from Pittsburg. We didn't even consider there being a mid west in the 90s and I'm still not sure Ohio is considered mid anything

Pittsburgh halfway isn't even considered east coast.

lol.

I guess I don't mean coast. Nah it ain't on the coast. But I came up it was east vs west and then you had the south. Ohio was def considered an eastern town

you never heard of the Midwest breh?

seriously?

Born and raised in Cin,oh. Always been the mid west stop please

these dudes are stuck in wu world.

:whoa: Y'all got it. As an east coast breh, we didn't know bout the Midwest as a region until nelly and them started saying it

And yes. I heard of the Midwest. Just haven't heard many Ohio rappers actually say "I'm from the Midwest"

And I'm from philly. Got family all over pa. Nobody in pa claims Midwest

I'm from philly too cannon. we knew about the Midwest before nelly.

I don't think Pittsburgh claims Midwest but the east coast aint claiming em. and for the most part, its not an east coast type city.

Im strictly talking hip hop. Outkast was still getting booed at the source awards in 96-97. There was no south shyt on the radio. A few chi town cats was making noise, but it wasn't like they was screaming mid west on records

The only time I caught non east coast acts was on rap city and yo mtv raps. It's not like now where every song needed an intro of you screaming your city, click and street on every track. Wasn't no internet to research. You got it from the source or right on or some shyt

Brussels, Belgium
bone is in Europe all the time.

and you got corrected multiple times by people in the last thread you tried this chit in.

whats the deal with some of you dudes? SMH.

Lol you gonna tell me what I see or what :skip:
I didn't even talk about no damn concerts. Maybe they're going to Poland or GB :yeshrug:Countries I live in (France, Belgium, Italy) I've never seen a Bone show being promoted like that, etc. Does it mean they don't come? Never said that, I'm telling you that I see EPMD coming to Brussels in a couple of weeks, UK rookies like Jay Prince, Beatnuts were in Paris just last year (missed them:francis:) but somehow don't see Bone ads or whatever. If they were as big I wouldn't have missed them for 20 years, is what I'm saying. Meanwhile if the Wu comes (regardless of which members actually come, which is the bullshyt they're on) it gets much more attention.

Why y'all so defensive though? It's not an indication of quality, 3-6 was never that big around these parts neither, don't mean they aren't great. Some styles just travel better, that's all.

This post shows why you and others like you erroneously think wu and other east acts were bigger than they were while downplaying other artists from other areas
