Also something to consider regarding the '60s Celtics-Lakers matchups... Celtics won three Game 7s by a combined seven points. And the Lakers were something like another five points away from forcing a Game 7 in another Finals. West and Baylor were really fukking close to being multi-time champs before Wilt even got there.

No big 3 Celtics?

They blew two 3-2 leads

2010 finals to the Lakers, and 2012 eastern conference finals (their last run)

And if kg doesn't get hurt, they probably win in 09.

So basically they should have been a dynasty.

I mean, that's why kg pierce and rondo act like they were anyway :pachaha:

Yeah gotta be the Sonics/Thunder. There’s a good chance that in a couple weeks we’ll be able to say they had 3 MVPs on that team. They got 1 finals appearance out of it, traded harden for a pick that became Steven Adams and scraps, then lost KD in FA because he couldn’t beat the dubs. If harden is still there, they don’t blow that series, and win the west the last 3 years. Probably win one or 2 rings, and have 3 of the best players in the league in their primes.

But on the other hand, they had to lock up Kendrick Perkins and Ibaka.

Both finals they lost, the other team was simply better :manny:. If you’re saying had LeBron stayed, that’s another story.

WUT? In what world is that Dallas team better than the heat? Now... If you want to say they were dominated by Dirk that's a different story. That Dallas team might be one of the worst championship teams ever.

  • Late 80s Dallas Mavs (young Harper, McGuirre, Blackmon, Perkins, Detlef and other stars gradually traded for no reason :mindblown: )
  • 90 to 92 Eagles (best nfl defense of the paat 30 years...Injuries/JB passing)
  • 1980s Mets (coke)
  • Early 90 Nets (Starks ruining Kenny Anderson’s career....resulting in rarly playoff exit...resulting in Petro being in Germany only to die...fukk John Starks)
  • Mid 90s Magic (Shaq leaves/Penny injured)
