All that needed to be said. That's the single biggest problem in the dating game...men and women not understanding that the opposite gender has different priorities and preferences. Most dude's aren't gonna wanna put on clean clothes and go do a bunch of girly shyt all the time. Most chicks aren't gonna wanna lay up and watch you play 2K between fukks and sucks all the time. Like you said, it's about balance. It's also about having common interests and lifestyles. That's the purpose of dating, to see what each other is into and see if ya'll fit.

I agree here. And it's where a lot of the frustration begins to build in a relationship.

Men don't account for the little things that women prioritize and vice versa.

Women need to be seen and validated, which means they want to be out and about. Otherwise, they will get depressed. That's just how they are wired. Why do you think COVID was driving these women crazy? They need to be seen, otherwise they lose their minds.

Men want to feel that a woman is excited about the things he's excited about, even if they have no clue about the shyt.

I see it with cac and asian women all the time. They'll be at a beer or whiskey spot with their men. You can tell they don't know anything about beer or whiskey. But, because their men are passionate about it, they tag along and at least pretend to be enjoying themselves. That stuff goes a long way with men.

Same with men having to get dressed up and throwing on the brunch boots to pay for some overpriced breakfast items called brunch. Most men don't care about that stuff, but it makes women happy. So, we do it. Most men would rather be somewhere watching college football or NFL football on a weekend.

I know yall got video games and sports on TV and anime and ship like that but I thought you would like to at least go out once in a while too lol.

I remember going to a homies surprise birthday party and me and 2 of my homies girls were literally just sitting there on their phones while we were sitting at a table. I literally moved and told my friends to do so as well just to get they bytchasses to talk to eachother a bit.

they just like attention and like to consume.

Woman are sociable creatures. They wanna see how you act in social situations. They like having a reason to get dressed up. They like new, fun experiences even if it's the same shyt but with a person that makes it fun. Yeah a free meal, free drinks, free admittance etc. don't hurt.

And some of yall like seeing us dressed up. I remember one casual relationship I had years ago, one of those Netflix and chill situations so I would only come over in lounge wear, naturally. Men and women have two different definitions of being social. When a man talks about going out and being social, a lot of that involves talking to complete strangers.
