thats how i felt when i was in maine..didnt have a racist encounter but the only other black people i saw were fresh off the boat africans with some homely white women when i stopped in at a walmart..doesnt help im a big cat too so i stood out like a sore thumb...lots of stares
All places in the U.S are racist but, Northern Florida is just horrible...I had family members who were being followed by a truck, filled with White men armed with shot guns up there.
This....It's like North Florida and South Florida are two different states. North Florida is a Hick Town.

North Florida is definitely racist. I had to live there for a few years when I was in the Military. Worst place I ever been on my life. We use to call it southern Alabama.

1. Rust Belt area .. The small cities outside of Cleveland , Ohio , Pittsburgh , Upstate New York....
it's amazin if i'm visting my nephew at st johns in queens or my sister in westchester it's pretty ok... but upstate new york is like a whole other world....

Going there for some lobster rolls and chowda in a couple weeks. Had no issues 10 years ago, but probably worse now?
