lol, I go out of my way to buy from black businesses sometimes. I stopped buying all my black literature from amazon to support my local black bookstores. But just so you know this is only a small gesture, when the people form an underground railroad for ex cons to truly rehab and reclaim their lives with economic opportunities. It sucks other cities with major black populations don't got the African population that DC does cuz a lot of our culture is one of community and togetherness so it'd be a good thing to adopt.

That is true. But people need to stop defending all prisoners thinking that they Nelson Mandela. Some of them are unjustified in being locked up, but some of them do dirt and have to face its karma.

Group economics, breh. I put money in the hands of black barbers, black butchers at meat shops that are black owned, support Caribbean places, etc.

Stop trying to shoot down the messenger in the process of finding a solution.
So that what his solution amounts to? Putting money in the hands of black barbers, black butchers and supporting caribbean places?

I'm not "trying to shoot down" anything. If you believe you've found the cure to the social ills of the "black" community im simply asking what youre doing?

You are a reflection of the cure you are out here preaching about and for you to sit up here telling me that you've come across the road to redemption for the "black" community and then answer my question of "ok, what are you doing that's redeeming the community?" with "breh. I put money in the hands of black barbers, black butchers at meat shops that are black owned, support Caribbean places, etc" and think I'm going to do anything more then chalk that cure you are advocating as more foolishness being prolifereted is foolish on your part.

You mean to tell me you think that you believe that "put money in the hands of black barbers, black butchers at meat shops that are black owned, support Caribbean places, etc." will fix the social woes of the "black" community?

Its a start. Solutions can't fix everything overnight.

@marcuz @AAKing23 can explain what long term solutions are.

What are your solutions? :stopitslime:

SOME solutions can't fix everything overnight, but how will what you are doing ulitmately fix the problem? And don't @ others to answer a question I didn't ask them. I asked you.

Have any of my posts in this threads made reference to a solution?

It takes time. Even the other ethnic groups, it took generations for them to gain economic power.

And none of your post in this thread refer to a solution of any sort. You just talked about the problems.

Well what you were saying about group economics is the first step to a long term solution. For one it will give black people a foundation to start from and decrease our dependence on these white owned major corporations tat really don't give a shyt about you.

Eventually more and more black people could open up businesses and organizations in our communities with the money flowing only between our people bringing an increased prosperity to our communities. Young black men and women would then have more of a structure if they knew and had large networks of black people to interact with.

You're still not getting to the root of the question i asked you. Say every "black" person in this country started "put[ting] money in the hands of black barbers, black butchers at meat shops that are black owned, support Caribbean places, etc" how would that fix the problem?

And none of your post in this thread refer to a solution of any sort.

You're right, none of my posts in this thread reference a solution, so why are you asking me what my solution is?

I'm asking you the prescription you follow for the solution YOU REFERENCED and you answed ""put[ting] money in the hands of black barbers, black butchers at meat shops that are black owned, support Caribbean places, etc"

My common sense tells me, in seconds, that that is not the solution and also makes me question your sense to believe such a simple-minded approach.

No matter what I type or what logic I propose, there is someone willing to tear your head off. I said, that if there was more black economics and black power in every aspect of life, like having black lawyers and judges that do things fairly, etc., cases like Boosie would happen far less often.

Your line of thinking is the problem. It allows people like you to fool yourselves into believing you are doing something that makes you part of the solution and that if others simply did what you did the world would be a better place. I got some news for you buddy, it's not the answer. Damn near every "black" man in this country goes to a "black" barber..........why aren't the "black" barbers living in the hills like your prescprition promises?

Ill let you answer that before I continue

What is your answer, if I am wrong? What is it? Help people like Boosie out and give answers to all of their problems.

Dude killed somebody...

It's funny how we glorify thugs breaking the rules and doing "whatever they have to do to feed their families" but we want the Police to be saints and honest al the time....hahahaha...

I have NO problems with cops doing "whatever they have to do to put known serious trouble makers being bars for years"...

Troublemakers need to STOP copping pleas...If you are about that life, then you should what that life is about...

And accept that there is only one rule, there are NO rules...

Dumbest shyt I've ever heard... so you're ok with authorities bending the laws and taking away nikkas rights just because they're "known"? That's the type of society you wanna live in? And you nikkas dapped this Police State ass nikka? fukk THAT
