We've constructed this offense as if we have a mobile freestyle QB like Mahomes or Watson. Jimmy is a tempo, timing QB like Brady. Our receivers and QB aren't a match skill-wise. None of these plays are linking with each other. The addition of Emmanuel Sanders last season was huge, and we didn't do anything to replace that loss. I don't understand.

Aiyuk ain't even doing what Sanders did, he's a Deebo clone. Apart from Pettis, we have no one who can run crisp routes to take advantage of Jimmy's strengths (quick release, tempo). All the guys we have are backyard football dogs. Jimmy isn't a threat to run, so defenses play the receivers honest, but the receivers can't beat shyt. Kittle can eat because he's GOAT, but there's no one else I see on the team who fits Jimmy's skillset. If we're gonna keep Jimmy, we should have been building an offense like the Pats built for Brady with dudes like Edelman and Amendola. Otherwise we should just fukkin trade him for Mayfield or something.
