Big Pimpin and There's Been a Murder are good.....great even. But they don't make up for the lackluster efforts both production wise and lyrically. Vol 1 and 2 had enough good to balance out the bad, vol 3 didn't to me. Simple as that
MCHG is a VERY close 3rd worst.the rest of that album is throw away from Vol 2 (which is UNDERRATED imo, and has blueprint level quotables.)
Any nikka hating on Vol 1 is INSANE, however.

Strangely enough mchg has grown on me a bit and has become listenable.
And I'm surprised more votes are not there for vol. 3. That was just 1 album that didn't need to drop and was clearly jay trying to continue his album a year streak and add a ton of songs aimed to make the radio. He had no fire in that album everything was nonchalant and lazy. He just lucked up and got a couple of smash records to hit the radio, but from a substance depth perspective, the album is just terrible.
Only album that has that same feeling is kingdom come. But kc had at least a few songs that were game changers. Vol.3 is just bad all around.
