i know forever was heavy with the synths and that but he hadnt reached that stage yet... though im just listening to random wu-songs and this came on pretty sure this was 1996.... sounds digi to me... and also dope !:mindblown:

was obviously a phrophet with the digi shyt tho because look what happened a few years after... hip hop has pretty much gone the full transition from samples to digi synths ! the GAWD :lawd: "yall nikkaz aint even gonna figure this one out till the year 2 G ! "

I know this wasn't the first full blown digi style beat, but I think this was one of the earlier ones IIRC....

Man, once he started that digital sh*t, he lost his step a bit. Luckily, he redeemed himself with The W album.

But those Bobby Digital albums are some of the most vain projects ever recorded.

Another clear Digi track that predates In Stereo album is The Chase from the Bulworth soundtrack.

i think it really started with Forver, because he was using all new equipment and i've read that he used the DDrum for all the drums on Forever.

the flood wiped out a lot of his old beats and he was rapidly gaining more & more new toys so playing around with them lead to a new style. honey dipped dust blunts helped a lot too lol
