As of late i have to say fallout 4.
You lucked up paying for the season pass early while it was 30$ but now that shyt ballooned to 50$! All for some shytty story elements and settlement building. Imo not worth it now, you might as well wait till a goty edition

Nothing will ever beat Army of Two the 40th day, wherein the ending is DLC.
Asura's Wrath enjoyed that kind of assfukkery and decided to do the same.
Mass Effect 3; Prothean dlc, which was true huckstery at work. An integral part of the story....you more than likely have to pay for.

I'd wanna say the whole concept of Destiny since you paid 60 bucks for a game that you had to buy in installments, but that's a whole 'nother thread.
I think Elite Dangerous and Gucamelle had some bullshyt going on where they released both games and then released 'Definitive' versions of each and made the DLC only available for the latest release, meaning that folk who were on board at launch got fukked over in terms of updated content. My brother got snagged on both of these hooks.

Mortal Kombats "easy fatality" tokens are just laughable. Are people really that bad at the game?
Now word us out that injustice 2's armor will be pay-to-unlock for people who don't want to spend months grinding fot gear (will be many). They'll also probably be going with the same dlc model from mkx.

Destiny.
I got my PS4 brand new and it came with a choice where u can pick a free game out of : NBA 2k15, Destiny, and 2 other games
I picked destiny thinking it was gonna be something like halo- also a complete game
what i got was destiny (which sucks) then not even the whole game bc its not playable past a point without the dlc
Also GTA Finance and Felony update even though its free: Hey wanna spend $5MIL for an office so you can spend the next 15 years grinding it out fo ryour money bacc?
Also. Do you like dope wars? Stock trading? People have bene dying for sell drugs/more heists/more criminal activity and the ability to buy/sell in this game
Buit instead of that we'll let you be a "CEO" but you cant pick the wages you pay, you cant choose your assistant, you cant hire more than 4 people at a time, and your CEO duties are PICKING up CRATES
