What was the reason Rondo was left off the Olympic team?

How does he fit international play when PG's that can hit the open shot are more valuable than an assist man?

He can't shoot/score/ hit FT's and Paul/Williams/Westbrook can do all of the above while can distribute just as well as he rondo does(maybe not Westbrook)

One of the most overrated players ever

*Looks at AVI*:aicmon:

Rondo is elite , one of the biggest difference makers in the L. As special as Shaq was at dominating without being able to shoot, Rondo is the same type of unique talent, but even moreso cuz he can do waaay more sh!t.

It's not important because It doesn't win or lose you series most of the time. Its not nearly as important as other positions. Unless your a shutdown defender like Payton, defense should never be used in debates of Point Guards. It's all about offense at that position and how well you run a team

Russell Westbrook destroyed the heat, and they lost in 5

Deron killed LA in 2010, and they lost etc

Chris Paul put on a show against the Lakers in 11', and they lost in 6.

Kidd guarding Lebron for a few players here an there'd didn't have much of an impact as the Mavs Zone as a whole and Lebron choking.

As special as Shaq was at dominating without being able to shoot

Say what now?

We comparing dominant centers that do most of their work in the paint and their shooting ability to PG's who have to rely on shooting much more?

gotta do a double-take to make sure I'm reading this right:whoo:

Yea u did

Shaq couldnt shoot, at all. FTs or jump shots. His hands were so big he could barely get a good grip on the ball. But, he still found a way to dominate. Same with Rondo. Cant really shoot but he dominates the game in so many other ways that it dont really affect his overall performance.

Moses Malone "couldn't shoot."

Wilt "couldn't shoot"

Willis Reed "couldn't shoot."

Centers aren't required to shoot as much as PG.

You WYLIN!!
