The bias against the west coast was ridiculous. Doggystyle and The Chronic are obvious 5 mic albums. They didn't even rate All Eyez on Me until later and then gave it a 5 because they knew they had to. shyts funny to me

After the Low End Theory the Source tightened up the standards for 5 mics. Only albums between 92 and 01 to get 5 mics in real time were Illmatic, Life After Death and Aquemini
