What was y’alls favorite era/trend for matches

I feel like they go in trends. Like you had pure psychology in the 80s, brawling in 99, heavy submissions/suplexes from 03-05, spotfests now, etc.

For me it was New Gen. That Bret/Shawn/Owen/Razor/Bulldog generation those main events from 94-97 age like fine wine. Perfect mix of brawling, psychology, wrestling, and story. Not to mention so many firsts.

I encourage anyone to go back and watch Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit at the 2003 Royal Rumble, CLASSIC . That whole SmackDown Six era was some shyt we may never see again.

Nobody gave about the fukking matches..nyggas never get that. Workrate didnt matter..it was about being great..workrate was a big deal when Eddie became champion in 2004ish.
