I don't mess with the dealership at all because BMW dealerships charge you about 300% more than an independent and they don't let you buy your own shyt and supply it to the mechanic.

So I have no idea what they would be charging for something like that right now.

My point is it's extremely unrealistic for brakes or even brakes and rotors to cost that much no matter what you drive. You'd have to have more than 4 wheels.

Think about it... even if mechanics charge $100-150 an hour now, it's less than an hour job and the parts cost nowhere near $800-900 . If anybody is paying that much they're getting BASHED.
