Final Fantasy 8.

The battle, magic system was pretty poor though but I enjoyed the presentation and certain parts of the story before it got really crazy in the later discs.

you ain't laying breh. I used to equip my knights with ninja duel swords ability with auto potion :banderas:
But that Job system was crack. Roll out the line up of Ramza, Orlando, Agrias, 2 Knights and a Summoner and its Ova!
Bruh, you're doing it wrong. You gotta have Ramza (as a squire with 97 brave, draw out secondary skill, blade grasp), Orlandu, Agrias with teleport (who becomes too slow to use effectively at higher levels), a Ninja with blade grasp and 97 brave... now here's where you get strong...you gotta have a female Wizard/Priest with faith in the high 70s (not in the 80s or higher, cuz then they get killed by magic) who has learned black/white/time magic and math skill secondary skill, and TELEPORT. Ain't NOBODY fukking with you. Start the battle by casting Haste on most of your party, then go to work with your other characters, then hit everybody with Holy/Flare with math skill. Then again, you can beat most random battles and many boss battles with Orlandu alone. Orlandu is possibly the most broken character in an RPG ever.

Can't be using summoners at high levels...they're too slow, and their charge times are too long--unless you have short charge...but if that's the case, then you still have better options.

To answer the question of the thread...FF6...easily. I recently played that shyt as an adult and finally realized the significance of the story and how fukking deep it is. The game has a real fukking message. Every character has a fukked up past, filled with hurt, confused identities, and is trying to find their purpose in life, each in their own way...and by the end of the game, they each experience self-discovery, let go of their past, become one with themselves, and become healthy individuals again...learning how to love themselves, love others, and also allowing others to love them. The whole game is one long therapy session for every single character. Crazy shyt.

Plus Kefka is the best villain in a video game ever. The dude actually achieved his plan, killed the emperor, destroyed the world, and became a GOD!

FF6 best RPG ever.

6, 8, 7, 14, 10, 9, 11, 4, 12, 13, 5, 1, 2, 3, Tactics. in that order :manny:

only thing not making 7 better than 8 was that 8 had level scaling and i thought that was a great idea but it was still harder than 7. FF7 im is still the easiest of them all by far.

I'm gonna throw out that hasn't been mentioned

Crisis Core for Psp
I've played 7 and 10 and I love both of them but crisis core was my first FF game and it blew me away. Especially how the story led into 7

Word. Tactics is tied with FFVII as my favorite RPGs ever. :blessed:

FFT is a monster of a learning curve, but once you get it, it is :banderas:

Orlandu is a beast of a character that you get in your party. I got the PSP version and all I do is grind to get the Dark Knight. I got 4 of them and grinding for 3 more in our team.
