That's the problem. That's what I'm pointing out. NFL fans are old, the NFL hasn't captured the younger generations the same way the NBA has.
As time goes on and those fans die the NFL will be in big trouble. It's very similar to what's happening to baseball, just on a slower pace.
You can look just in America and the difference is clear. NBA players live in a different stratosphere of fame for the most part, and you can look at demographics online and see that the NBA has a huge advantage among Americans. It's totally out of proportion.
what does this mean exactly? demographics for what? huge advantage among Americans when it comes to what? and NBA players are in a different stratosphere of fame compared to whom among who? Tom Brady is as well known in the U.S. as Lebron.
also, refer to the graph youve posted. NBA fans are younger than NFL fans, younger people use the internet more.

The 2nd biggest sport in the US but it's shytting on NFL globally. Something the NFL can't do is resonate with the international crowd. They been trying to break ground with the Mexico and U.K. game but the world just really fukking with it. I was listening to Zach Lowes podcast he was talking how some countries basketball is the number 1 sport over soccer.
Another point I heard I want to say from Bomani is the culturally difference. White people pushing their kids away from basketball into sports with more white people. They don't see enough white superstars, most of the best white players come from overseas. Black players with too much power. That's one thing the NFL made sure didn't happen even though it's a majority black league. Most of the coaches are white and most of the QBs are white because some white people dont like seeing blacks in power. It makes them feel better even if it's majority black players on the field. they stripped the players of their power. They wear helmets and are discouraged to show emotion and celebrate. The NBA is just too diverse to connect with the average kinda racist, kinda sexist white male. Hell they got a woman as head of the player association, they got a woman on the sideline with Spurs. Adam Silver said his dream was to have a woman head coach. They celebrate Black,Asian,Latino holidays. The players are way more involved with the community it's no Lebron in the NFL. Their is no KD giving a million and going out helping people. NBA dedicated the opener games to the Orlando Nightclub victims. The NFL would never do soemthing like that in fear they would alienate their homophobic fanbase.
Bottom line the NBA is just too progressive and inclusive of beings to connect with that conservative racist homophobic sexist crowd that the NFL thrives on.
