Jerrry West was in 9. Jerry>>>Lebron?

But not even halfway to his 5 wins.

No, because you're still stuck on a stupid-ass means of evaluating players.

Jerry West was on a fantastic Lakers team, but unfortunate enough to have to play against an even greater Celtic team.

Magic chose to join up with the guy who would be the current NBA MVP, someone who had already won multiple rings, was in his prime, and would go down as one of the greatest players of all time. (And yes, he did choose - he publicly said that if Chicago had gotten the #1 pick, he would have stayed in school another year.)

Getting to the Finals and getting a ring has a lot to do with how good your coach is, how good the other players are, and how good the competition is. Different eras, different teams, different situations.

But you know what's undeniable? For any one player, in any particular year, it's better to win in the 2nd round than to lose in the 2nd round. It's better to win in the conference finals than to lose in the conference finals. And if your basis of evaluating a player goes against that in any way, you're an idiot.

Kobe catches heat for losing with Luke Walton and Smush Parker, but Lebron gets a pass for losing with a significantly better team.

I love how nikkas love talking about teamball when the Spurs do it, but if the Cavs do it, it's all "omg Lebron, Lebron Lebron!" Even when the Cavs won 66 games people acted like he was playing with bums. You cant respect the Spurs then dismiss the same shyt when other teams do it. And that's not even adjusting the fact that this team is very talented and that's with Kyrie, Love, and Varejao being injured.

Pretty sure everyone agrees TD has either been the best player or the team leader for the Spurs since 1999 :patrice:

Very talented? :russ:

Matthew Delladova was a solid 3 PPG performer on a lottery pick Cleveland team last year.

JR Smith was the 2nd option on one of the worst Knick teams in recent history, missing the playoffs in a historically weak east.

Tristan Thompson was a starter and contributor to a Cleveland team that was in the lottery multiple times.

Mozgov just came from a lottery bound Denver squad and was the backup to JJ fukkin Hickson.

This is the extremely talented squad you talking about? 4 starting players who were main contributors or backups to squads that were lottery bound?

Cavs fans kill me. Now Lebron is playing with no talent, but when these guys were playing with Carmelo it's "but he has so much talent over there! He's selfish!"

But if Lebron loses with the same guys it's "oh, he didn't have enough talent they were even lucky to get there in the first place."

Why would you even bring up Melo. If you want to make comparisons look at the last team Melo played on that got to the conference finals and match them to lebrons's healthy roster. Then ask how well the nuggets did without him. Then ask how any Cleland/Miami team did without LeBron This is why Melo gets no love.

Question, if you're a Knicks fan how can a Knicks fan even cape for a man that was too stupid/impatient to wait half a season then play for the knicks instead of letting valuable assets leave via trade?

Lebron has the most assist by a small forward all time, so you know he is passing the rock and getting his open team mates involved. No one thought he would get passed the Bulls/Hawks with this injured team but he did.

Put Lebron on the same Knicks and I promise you they are 5 seed or higher. Lebron makes his teammates better and elevates people's game.

Bruh the Cavs were the favorite in the Hawks series everywhere.
