:smh: this is the problem. what' your definition of success? ok, they will lose out on endorsements and the multi-millino dollar contracts. but i also think that you are severely underestimating the power of the black community. We have 1.1 trillion dollars in spending power. People are quick to trade in their dignity for a dollar.

About that 1.1. trillion dollars in spending power. The Myth of Black “Buying Power" | Black Agenda Report

lol at whites boycotting. who cares. it's about being around you and yours and not working under slave conditions with little opportunity for ownership.

Who care's if the single LARGEST segment of the population, doesn't spend money with you? Are you serious. :russ:. I don't have a degree in Business, but I'm almost certain that would probably be the death of these "All Black leagues" by itself.

So basically, what would happen if black athletes withdrew from the current leagues?
Well, let's assume it happened. And all the athletes ignored the lucrative offers from those leagues. Just for the hell of it...

What would happen is those leagues would collapse overnight. And the US economy would probably tank like a MF.

The NFL generates something like 6 or 7 billion dollars a year in revenue.
The NCAA generates anywhere from 1 billion to 4 billion -- it was difficult to find accurate numbers.

I don't think Americans are gonna keep watching if suddenly the best player on your favorite team was Quarterback at Division 3 Morrisville State. Nobody's buying that jersey.

A sport like football would suffer a lot because there just aren't those kinds of athletes anywhere else in the world.
You can't find a Kobe Bryant in Spain but there are enough talented basketball players around the world to put up some kind of competitive product on the court in the absence of the Kobes, Lebrons and Durants.
But you can't go to Europe and get a Ray Lewis. You can't go to India and find a Cam Newton. It just doesn't exist.

guess you never heard of black wall street.

The best description of Black Wall Street, or Little Africa as it was also known, would be to compare it to a mini Beverly Hills. It was the golden door of the Black community during the early 1900s, and it proved that African Americans could create a successful infrastructure. That’s what Black Wall Street was all about.

The dollar circulated 36 to 100 times, sometimes taking a year for currency to leave the community. Now a dollar leaves the Black community in 15 minutes. As for resources, there were Ph.D.s residing in Little Africa, Black attorneys and doctors. One doctor was Dr. Berry, who owned the bus system. His average income was $500 a day, hefty pocket change in 1910.

What happened to Black Wall Street on June 1, 1921?

Black athletes are virtually high paid slaves. Corporations and institutions make huge money from them. On college campuses they are generally isolated from the mass of black students and are usually out of touch. The same goes on in Pro but to a much larger extent. If they suddenly stopped playing there would be huge losses. That is why they are kept as far as possible from racial issues.

Breh are you about building a community OR building and financing an All Black Sports league? Because those are two totally different things. You said WHO cares's if White people boycotted. Ain't a sports league in America today could exist without White money behind it, just think of the economic impact that would have. You just said Black people have "1.1. Trillion dollars is spending power" So what is White spending power 50 Trillion? 70 Trillion? 100 Trillion?... keep in mind that Black median net worth is like 6,000 bucks. Who the fukk is going to go to the games? The average price of an NFL ticket is $85 dollars. I take it this leagues would be to, and another thing. What about sponsors? White people boycotting remember, How are you going to generate money when McDonalds, Subway, AT&T, etc....don't fukk with you? How you gonna pay the players? Wingstop commercials.? Better yet, how are you going to even get on air?

Would never work here because America is a white country.

It would have to be in Africa but, you have to wait another 100-150 years for the continent (or multiple countries within the continent) to develop (into first world nations). So definitely not in our life time. But of course, nikkas over there care nothing about basketball and football....soccer only.

They could use the MLS business model if it's a basketball league. It would probably operate at a loss for the first 10 years though.

Instead of operating as an association of independently owned teams, MLS is a single entity in which each team is owned and controlled by the league's investors.

My concern would be breach of contract lawsuits players would have to deal with. Also, would players be willing to take pay cuts if they aren't paid as much. :yeshrug:

Could never understand how they hate nikkas so much but cheer hard as fukk on Sundays. I know. Thats why i dont fukk with the NFL.

Exactly. Its cringeworthy seein' a large group of whites in a sports bar type establishment cheering that hard for a 98% black team but spewing hate every other day of the week. Probably why alot of college athletes fukk mainly with their own bubble.

America. Plus cognitive dissonance. In due time we will see the man behind the curtain.

Not really... It's the intricacy of entertainment: it plays as an escape from reality.

No different then Coli Militants who have an affinity for WWE (an organization that has shown itself to have a history of racist storylines and is about 85% CAC) :ld:

you cowardly implied that without the help of whites blacks would be destitute. I used Black Wall Street as an example to show that we were able to thrive (even better than whytess) in the 1920s from unification and support of our own.

The economic impact it would have on WHO? Athletes see crumbs compared to what the owners make. When has Nike or Reebok or any of those other corporations actually done things for the black community? How many black people can get a job from those companies? Why should we continue to support them?

I guess you also never heard of the Negro League...
