What would it take for you to get into the "music" of a white rapper?

They have to be spitting fire. If they're spitting fire and they also have good politics, I'll definitely rock with them (e.g. Brother Ali).

They gotta respect the culture. People went at Lord Jamar for his comments the past year, but he had good things to say. No culture vultures around these parts :camby:

Paul Wall got a little flow. Mac Miller too. Eminem is eh.

Alchemist is a good white rapper.

Has a white rapper contributed to hip-hop MUSICALLY? I'm talking about in terms of sound, has a white rapper ever set a trend?

I'm sorry but i can't take white rappers serious at all....

House of Pain was the only Authentic sounding white Hip Hop i can recall that went platinum.

Eminem and some others had lyrical talent but their shock value lyrics ain't shyt to me.

Hip Hop has taken such a decline in the last 10 years that i would rather listen to other types of music.

Hip Hop is the music of the ghetto, that's what made it great in the 90's.

I understand that white kids liked Eminem because he lived in a trailer and had that lane.

But Hip Hop is for the streets, the Hood, the Projects, the block.

the music just has to be good or great, period. it's about bein' unique, creative and great.

the beastie boys and eminem were/are factors; they already broke barriers. both the beastie boys and eminem bought somethin' new to hip hop. beastie boys were like those frat boys meets punk attitude with a hip hop approach who just wanted to party and have fun. eminem bought the flip side of the ghetto to hip hop, the trailer park.

the classic albums both the beastie boys and eminem released as well as classic songs like these can't be denied :wow:
