What would it take for you to get into the "music" of a white rapper?

Another thing i can't understand is why people get upset about Iggy & Macklemore.
They're not rappers, they both are pop artist and neither of them are Hip Hop at all.
If white people buy their albums so be it don't be mad at them just support the black artist you like.
People like Chuck D determine who is hip hop and who is not.
Just because the mainstream media say an artist is Hip Hop does not mean they are.

No barriers to break really. All you gotta do is express yourself honestly and be dope. I love to hear fresh perspectives and personal stories more than anything, if you just rapping because you can rap you'll be a lot less interesting...it's why em didn't really blow til he dropped his guard.

On Infinite he was really just rapping because he could rap. He had spent all that time actually learning the mechanics, mincing other emcees and getting the timing down and was pretty impressive at his craft, but he wasn't being HONEST. He was rapping because he knew he could, not because he HAD to.
His failures pushed him beyond simply rapping to impress his peers, he got desperate, even got pushed to attempt suicide but came out of it more in touch with his shadow which he was able to channel through the skillset he had acquired previously.
